Brief Introduction (About Me)
For more than 17 years, I have been active in the television and telecommunications industry. I have experience in the transmission and distribution of video content, from production to the end user. I have been involved in several international projects, including the technical support for the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi (2014) and the Summer Olympic Games in Paris (2024), where I worked directly for Olympic Broadcast Services as an SDI Network Engineer.
Currently, I am part of an international team of engineers responsible for the management, implementation, and design of satellite and OTT platforms. I also have experience as a Team Leader at a satellite operations center (NOC) in Prague, where I was responsible for a technical team monitoring television broadcasting and network infrastructure.
In addition to my main employment, I work as a self-employed professional offering services in video transmission, remote production, video cloud, and monitoring of television services.
Working in this field is not only my profession but also my passion. I continuously follow new technologies and trends to provide efficient and innovative solutions.
I was interviewed by Televizníweb.cz, a Czech portal focused on television and radio broadcasting, on the topic: What it’s like to work at the Paris Olympics as a freelancer.

Summer Olympic Games 2024 (Paris) – SDI Network Engineer for Olympic Broadcast Services (Freelancer, 3 months)
During the Summer Olympic Games in Paris 2024, I worked as an IBC Network SDI Engineer as part of the Broadcast Engineering team. My role was to ensure the smooth operation of critical broadcast infrastructures at the International Broadcast Center (IBC), which served as the central hub for distributing the television signal to global broadcasters

Winter Olympic Games 2014 (Sochi) – Broadcast Engineer, part of the IBC (International Broadcast Center)
As an official television broadcaster, I participated in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, where I worked for nearly a month at the International Broadcast Center (IBC). My main responsibility was to assist in the transmission of the television signal from Sochi to the Nova TV headquarters in Prague. I was responsible for the technical management of encoders, decoders, multiplexers, and other studio equipment that ensured smooth broadcast transmission and distribution. Working in such a dynamic and international environment was not only a challenge but also one of the best projects I have been involved in.

TV NOVA, Maintenance Engineer (2012–2016), Telecommunications Technician (2008–2012), Full-time

I contributed to the technical support of major television projects such as Superstar, The Voice, and UEFA football broadcasts. I gained experience with television studios, editing suites, OB/SNG trucks, and technologies for On Air operations.
I worked in the Master Control Room (MCR), where I managed satellite and IP signals for live sports broadcasts (Nova Sport) and television news. I was also responsible for managing distribution encoders and monitoring signals according to ITU and ETR-290 standards.
